Tension, tension, tension! That is what we will be seeking no exploring for our July Pen’s meeting! Get ready to learn how to place one of our least favorite feelings into the most interesting consequences for our characters within our novels or writings! Becky McLafferty will be guiding us along the tantalizing journey of writing tension and making our scenes sing.  Becky will have exercises for us to enjoy and explore.

The prompt to write to for this month is – Write about your own tense experience or bring a favorite scene from a beloved novel or poem or movie.

You are welcome to bring your own Work – In – Progress or WIP to share with the group for a five minute read.

Warning you may end up loving to write!

Visit a local shop or bring your coffee or cappuccino with you.
