Deborah Raney's "Two Roads Home" And Aria's Photo Shoot!

This 4th of July was loaded with surprises. First my daughter called so see if I wanted to go
on Aria's photo shoot! And a very special book arrived unexpectedly....

We started at the
park until the mosquitoes chased us away. That wasn't very nice!

So we ran to the Manitowoc Zoo and found some pleasing spots to take photos. You should
have seen the ones that we didn't get to take because Aria turned or walked toward us!

Then to my DELIGHT when I got home my husband had brought in the mail from yesterday
and there was Two Roads Home written by Deborah Raney!!!
What a wonderful surprise and I can't wait to read it!

Thank you Deborah for your generous heart! I will certainly be writing a book
review on Home To Chicory Lane and Two Roads Home!
Deborah's books are wonderful reads and I happily suggest these as worth reads.

Happy Forth of July to you all! What a wonderful history our nation has.
So many heroes, so many who gave up so much even their very lives
for our freedom.

Be safe and remember America and her roots!

  1. I hope you enjoyed your fourth! Yes, what an amazing history our nation has. You're my go to woman for a good read. Never read anything by Colleen Coble, but since your book club is reading it, I just got a copy from the library in town. Enjoying Rosemary's Cottage.

    Have a great week!

    1. Hi Mary! The nice thing about the Colleen Coble series is they can be read them separately and yet the previous books characters are sprinkled in to the next in the series book too. I'm enjoying "Rosemary's Cottage" and our readers club meeting has been moved to August so I'm sneaking in "Home To Chicory Lane" the book before "Two Roads Home." Then of course I'll definitely read "Two Roads Home". :) I like to read a book fresh and the series in order before doing the book interviews and reports. Thank you for stopping by!

  2. I enjoyed your post! Aria is a precious doll - - what a fun time you must've had on her photo shoot!
And I am thrilled you received Deborah Raney's book - - she is one of my VERY favorite authors (and one of the very first authors I read after "discovering" Christian fiction back in 2007). ;) I highly recommend her books!

    1. Hi Patti Jo! Aria is so full of energy and expressions and she definitely knows what she wants. sometimes for a whole second! Ha ha!
Deborah sure does get the family dynamics right and her characters ring true. Her stories are entertaining. I wish I could hide away for a week and get them both read and book reviews written this week! One at a time thought right!
